Xteve as a Windows Service Download NSSM from Unzip and copy NSSM to C:\windows\System32 folder Open a command prompt Use the following command: nssm install Xteve Path C:\PathToXteve\xteve.exe Startup directory C:\PathToXteveFFmpeg, VLC or xTeVe can be selected as a buffer. …xteve.exe is a binary file and needs to be started with a double click. plex sees these 5 random channels just fine, it even maps them correctly.

ive filtered out 5 random channels in xteve just to try in plex. i can configure xteve via the web interface, then go to plex and it finds xteve just fine. i also have an existing setup of plex that seems to be running fine. i have setup xteve and seems to be running fine.
#Kodi emby client update
I was using the FFmpeg buffer on it and it was working great until the 4.0.12 update then the buffering and streams started to drop out all the time.

#Kodi emby client how to
Can someone please tell me how to set this up for Direct Play local units? Walk me thru it like I am 3 because I tinkered, played, read, etc and still cant get this working the way I would like.Xteve vlc 6.

Eventually I will purchase a business grade server for hosting content but the specs on the computer currently acting as the host is more than powerful enough on both the CPU and GPU side and the ram is maxed out and is currently slightly overclocked.

At this point, I have no interest in accessing any of my media from EMBY or KODI/OSMC on a mobile and all my hard drive content is basically all lossless and I do not want to use a ton of resources from the devices as ideally I the design is calling for multizone support. I have also attempted to set up alternative paths both using \\MyServer and the IP address however I am not able to direct play from EMBY and always get the pop up saying its unable to do direct play and offers HTTP and HTTP/remind later.

The computer hosting EMBY also has KODI on it as well and obviously direct play is not an issue on that device - I installed the drivers on a Samsung TV also and I have never tried to watch a movie only music but I didn't get a warning it wasn't playing via Direct Play or informing it was a HTTP play. The Rasp is connected via LAN and media was pointed at folders. On my computer hosting EMBY, the RASP is showing up as DLNA which is guess is or isn't an issue. I have been playing around since Friday with getting the Direct Play to work.
